The purposes of this study were to explore the current situation and the relationship between athletic directors' perception of organizational culture and job involvement in junior high schools. A questionnaire titled ”A study on the relationship between athletic directors' perception of organizational culture and job involvement in junior high schools” was distributed to 235 athletic directors in Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung region, with the return rate of 65.96%. Based on questionnaires from 155 athletic directors, several conclusions made according to the research findings are:1. Athletic directors' perception of organizational culture is at the middle level.2. Athletic directors' job involvement is at the upper middle level.3. There are significant differences in athletic directors' perception of organizational culture for the variables of seniority, educational background and school scale.4. There are significant differences in athletic directors' job involvement for the variable of marital status, educational background and seniority.5. There is a significant positive relationship between athletic directors' perception of organizational culture and job involvement.6. Parts of athletic directors' perception of organizational culture have significant predictability on their job involvement. |
