This paper is aimed at exploring the professional practice and decision-making considerations of the expert producer in the multimedia design field based upon the theory of Benchmarking. The methods are adapted to this research including in-depth interview and participant observation under the naturalistic paradigm. The accomplishment of this study is expected to reach several research contributions: to develop a theoretical foundation for the domestic multimedia design education; to establish the information base of the best practice in the field; and to facilitate the cooperation between academic and practical fields. |
