新疆地區大學通識教育的狀況與分析－－以新疆大學為例

The Study of General Education in Xinjiang: An Example of the General Education Courses of Xinjiang University

新疆地處中國西部邊疆，屬於經濟文化欠發達地區。近十年以來，新疆的通識教育取得了長足的發展，充分體現培養高級人才應該具備的全面素質和廣泛的知識面、注重人文素養與學素養並重的通識教育理念，打破了學科界限，實現了學科交叉、相互通融。但是由於新疆歷史文化傳統和地緣政治的特殊性，客觀上要求本地區大學通識教育從本地實際出發，從教學內涵、教學方法有別於內地、普通的大學通識教育，必須充分利用當地傳統民族文化、加強公民意識培養、調整通識教育課程結構，發揮在少數民族地區獨特的辦學優勢和辦學特色。

Xinjiang is located in China's western frontier, and it is an underdeveloped area at the same time. During the recent decade, general education at Xinxiang University has made a considerable development, which fully reflects the conceptions of training, which covers a wide range of knowledge. It focuses on both humanities and science, but breaks the disciplinary boundaries, which have been formed in almost every aspect of the university's training plan. However, due to historical and cultural traditions as well as geopolitical specificity in Xinjiang, general education should be based on local reality and teaching content. Aiming at improving the general education level in Xingjian, the university must make full use of local traditional culture, strengthen civic awareness training and adjust the structure of general education courses to take advantages of unique characteristics in minority areas.
