According to the theory of self-regulated learning, this study investigated how the profile of mechanical-related competitors attending industrial skill competition makes the different on SRL. The sample was focused on the mechanical-related competitors attending industrial skill competition 2009 and was drawn by survey through sending 300 questionnaires. 288 questionnaires were returned and 275 questionnaires were available while taking off 13 non-available questionnaires. The returning rate of questionnaires was 91.67%. At the same time, this study use descriptive analysis and MONOVA to test and verify all the hypotheses of this study. The findings were (1) No difference of motivated relief, behavioral control, learning strategy, and supportive resource exist among competitors due to public and private schools or different match categories. (2) No difference of behavioral control, learning strategy and supportive resource exist among competitors coming from different school locations, but there is, however, the significant difference on motivated relief. |
