This study focused on cross-floor outpatient service, Pathfinder using the elevator, escalator, stair vertical movement in three different ways Wayfinding measured behavioral responses during the investigation and analysis, and discuss three kinds of vertical movement of space out of space for the impact of wayfinding, wayfinder guide of information on space needs and changes in cognitive maps, thus the reduction of out-patient space Wayfinding behavior of space improvement proposals and measures to enhance regional medical clinic space for quality of service. Research methods first use of the Space Syntax tool to determine the destination of the measured, and then through the use of elevators, escalators and staircases hand moves vertically in three different categories of measured, record the response wayfinding behavior, visual search and cross-floor behavior of three kinds of cognitive maps of the conversion process, the final comprehensive discussion and analysis of three kinds of vertical movement of the differences in wayfinding methods, space requirements and cognitive map-guided transformation similarities and differences. The results can provide environmental behavior research areas to understand cross-floor space in different ways wayfinding behavior vertical movement of the differences and enrich wayfinding research in cross-floor space, path issues explored. In the physical design areas can provide space planning and to improve the substance of the new clinic space for the Wayfinding design issues of reference. |
