The purpose of this research was to investigate elementary school teachers' media literacy.The "Elementary School Teachers' Media Literacy Questionnaire" developed by the researchers was used as the research tool for this research. A total of 247 valid samples were obtained from 77 public elementary schools in the northern, middle, southern and eastern areas of Taiwan. They were randomly selected from multilevel classified groups. The collected data were analyzed via descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA. The major findings of this research were as follows: the elementary school teachers' media literacy in Taiwan was good;elementary school teachers' college majors, gender and years of teaching significantly affected their media literacy; elementary school teachers from different areas, different sizes of schools performed differently on media literacy. |
