Owing to the promotion and implementation of inclusive education, special education and general education have became inseparable. Based on the pilot scheme of the Grade 1-9 curriculum for the General Education program, in this article, we survey the pilot scheme for the new syllabus of special education through the comparison and analysis in "Project objectives and Bases", "Executive and Conductive methods ", "Duties, Responsibilities, and Pilot schemes", "Track, Counseling, and Review on the Implementation Results", "Expected Performance" from the "Pilot scheme for new Grade 1-9 curriculum" and "Project for the implementation of pilot scheme of new syllabus for special education". By summing up the results, in order to know the outcomes of pilot scheme, we know that the "Pilot scheme for new Grade 1-9 curriculum" emphasizes on the strategy planning for problem solving before the overall implementation, reference model providing, cultivating seeded teachers, establishing organizations, designating pilot scheme, counseling and sub-project rules, along with regular review and irregular interview. Compared to the checklist and revision of the implementation of the Grade 1-9 curriculum, there are many points to be deliberated in the implementation of the new syllabus of special education. With the comparison and analysis in the pilot scheme, we want to evoke the awareness from the education administration authority, to review the promotion and implementation of the new syllabus for special education based on the experience from the Grade 1-9 curriculum. Based on the experience of predecessors, we hope the new syllabus for special education would not become a mere formality and bring benefit to the students who need special requirements. |
