The purpose of this study was to investigate the current practice of preparing early childhood education and care workforce in Australia. Documentary analysis was employed to collect, organize, analyze, and generalize the obtained data. The qualitative textual analysis of constant comparison methods was used to treat the collected data. The results of study were presented on the issues of Australian current status of early childhood education and care, workfore preparation policy of early childhood education and care, and workfore preparation system of early childhood education and care, respectively. Finally, the features of Australian early childhood education and care, workfore preparation policy and system, as well as differences compared with Taiwan, were discussed in the study. |
