The purpose of this study was to develop the Creative Personality Scale and the Teaching Behaviors Scale for Creativity for Preschool Teachers. These two scales were administered to 200 preschool teachers for item analysis and explore factor analysis in the pilot study. Subsequently, 782 preschool teachers participated in the main survey for confirmatory factor analysis. Regarding the results, most indicators fit the data in terms of overall it, preliminary fit and internal structure fit measures. Both of the scales showed satisfactory reliability and validity. The Creative Personality Scale for Preschool Teachers consisted of five subscales, namely independence and challenge, initiative and capability, flexibility and originality, curious and knowing, as well as imagination and intuition. The Teaching Behaviors Scale for Creativity for Preschool Teachers comprised five subscales, including challenge and independence, encouragement and support, cooperation and discussion, assessment and motivation, and flexibility and freedom. |
