For a long time, Seal is an important characteristic of Chinese Culture. In its writing manipulation, seal character displays pure and grave, and it spreads widespread. Seal is depended on the perosnal's status, position and influence. For example, imperial jade seal, offical seal, personal seal, and free seal. In addition, scholar uses seal to express his emotion and merge with poems and painting inside it. It makes Seal appears the art 's effectiveness and practicability. Seal Calligraphy's framework, layout and the change of color's depth as well as in intaglio and in relief sculptures are all display on the aesthetic of visual effects. In Chinese Seal history, Chang-shuo Wu is an outstanding and important figure. Wu's works and influences are highly praise even in Japan. Chang-shuo Wu is a comprehensive expression of poems, books, painting and seals, which has his peculiarity and the height of esthetic sensibilities. Therefore, this research paper is analyze the seal's works of Chang-shuo Wu, and to probe into his Seal Calligraphy's framework, layout, stereoscopic vision and calligraphic aesthetics. From this research to be aware of the cultural meaning and art's value of Wu's Seal Calligraphy. |
