Introductory Feasibility of Adopting Cloud Computing in Education--The Application of Integrated Technology Acceptance Model

We study Cloud Computing in ICT(Information and Computing Technology), and checks feasibility of adopting it in Education Industry. Typically, we will use the current situation in Technical Education system in Taiwan as an example and analyze how education administrators consider applying this new technology in their universities. As Cloud Computing is just being introduced here, local ICT service providers are yet still finding appropriate business opportunity related with it, it is thus a rather novel application to people here. But its often-cited merits, such as agility, scalability, cost-efficiency, and easiness of maintenance are all important characteristics requisite in service of technical education system here in Taiwan. We use a case study to demonstrate the importance of finding a cost-effective ICT yet with high quality of service for Education Industry in Taiwan and WE also analyze its acceptance through the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM).
