Based on the theory of the Social Structure of Accumulation, this study analyzes the Act for Worker Protection of Mass Redundancy from three perspectives: capital-labor contraction, the state role, and the dominant ideology. First, this study examines whether the Act for Worker Protection of Mass Redundancy belongs to the liberal Social Structure of Accumulation or the regulated Social Structure of Accumulation. Second, this study examines advance notification in a collective bargaining institution through a discussion of the three case studies. Finally, this paper proposes that the movement for the self-protection of society will come after the Act for Worker Protection of Mass Redundancy, which is toward the liberal Social Structure of Accumulation. |
