Since Taekwondo became an official event of the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Ping Jen Senior High School Taekwondo Team has won several national championships and nurtured a number of international athletes till now. From 2012 they have set a record of six consecutive dominances in the senior high school girls group and won the double team championship of the high school respective boys and girls groups. They are a nationally well-known school team with playing an important role to the four-level sports talent training diagram. The research purpose : to sort out the management model of this sport team, analyze the operations of its related organizations, and clarify its training mode for players and how the coaches run the team. The research topics include the development history of the case, the connotation of the business model, and the training strategy, in order to provide a reference for the development of relevant competitive sports teams. The research method is based on case study method is used to consolidate the team’s management model through raw materials and in-depth interviews with relevant people. The study conclusions were as follows : 1. This team was established with the school’s new creation in 2000, and it has grown stronger with the new official Olympics Taekwondo item and the support of the national sports policy respectively. 2. The school organizes a national-level coaching team, led by Kung-Cheng Chiu, and coached by both Wei-Hsin Chen and Qiong-fang Zhang. They cooperate well with each other and show specific training performance. 3. A training plan is drawn up on a yearly basis according to the major competitions, so that the players are able to clearly understand the training goals and implement the training plan. Arrange special training schedules in accordance with the principle of sports specificity. Formulate tactics in accordance with the latest competition rules and strict fundamentals. Wear electronic protective gear for actual combat simulation on a weekly basis. The leadership style of the coaching team attaches importance to cultivating the autonomous ability of the players, so that everyone is engaged in the same training goal.
