A Study of the Challenges of the Quality Senior High Schools and Their Strategies of Characteristics Innovation

本文旨在以宏觀的角度,進行優質高中的挑戰及其特色創新策略之初步探討。首先,析述優質高中特色創新之重要性及意涵;其次,探究優質高中所面臨的挑戰;再次,論述優質高中的特色創新策略,包括:一、透過卓越領導與評鑑機制,落實全人教育及全品質願景;二、明訂辦法,強化教師專業及社群,創新課程與教學特色;三、營造並維護優質學校環境,活化空間的境教及學習功能;四、提供學生多元展能的機會、管道與適性生涯輔導的機制;五、積極爭取並整合運用相關資源,發揮有限資源最大效益;六、解決完全中學、綜合及普通高中等不同高中的困境問題;七、加強觀念創新、制度創新及策略創新,為文化創新奠基。最後,提出本文的結論,作為推動優質高中特色創新,豐富優質高中精緻教育內涵之參考。
英文摘要
This paper discusses the challenges of quality senior high schools and their strategies of characteristics innovation from a macro perspective. First, the importance and implications of the characteristics innovation of quality senior high schools are stated. Next, the challenges faced by quality senior high schools are explored, and then the strategies of characteristics innovation of quality senior high schools are discussed. The resolution to implement the strategies of characteristics innovation includes: 1. Adopt the characteristic and innovative policies, such as the establishment of excellent leadership and evaluation system to conserve the high quality of these schools; 2. Strengthen teachers' professionalism and professional communities, and then leads to curricular and instructional innovation; 3. Establish and maintain the situational teaching environment and functions; 4. Offer students multiple opportunities to showcase what they can do and provide career development mechanisms that suit individuals; 5. Seek and integrate related resources to make the maximum use of them; 6. Solve the dilemmas of the complete high schools, comprehensive senior high schools, and ordinary senior high schools; and 7. Reinforce the new concepts for the educational system and polices to carry out the cultural innovations. Finally, the strategies of characteristics innovation and the promotion of quality senior high schools are proposed as the conclusion of this paper.
