高齡失智者活動領域與行為特性之研究-- 以台北市瑞智互助家庭為例

A Research on Activity Territory and Behavior Characteristics for the Seniors with Dementia -- The Case Study of Family of Wisdom in Taipei City

瑞智互助家庭是由台灣失智症協會設置的日間照顧空間，是專門針對高齡失智者特性所提供的環境。本研究採用深入訪談、直接觀察法與時空路徑紀錄等研究方法，以瑞智互助家庭輕、中與重度的高齡失智者共十四位為研究對象，研究結論1.高齡失智者隨著身體機能退化的喪失，會影響其人際交流與行為特性。2.應根據不同病程之高齡失智者提供不同需求與規模大小的活動場域。3.遊走型中度高齡失智者與失能兼重度失智高齡者，應增加戶外活動及及綠化園藝空間之可及性，以提高其社會性交流與知覺性交流，進而減緩病程。建議未來各社區應設置此類型之微型日照設施，讓高齡者可以在熟悉的環境下在地老化，更可對照顧者提供一個喘息機會，以達到高齡友善社區之理念。

 

The Family of Wisdom is a place for daycare of the Alzheimer’s disease association in Taiwan, and the environmental spatial properties is design for the people with dementia. This research using the interview methods, indirect observation, and interval recording to study 14 seniors with dementia in the Family of Wisdom as the objects. The research result as follows: 1. The interpersonal communication and behavioral will be affect, as the physically and mentally deteriorate.2. Provide the different size of activity territories for different level of sickness seniors with dementia.3.Promoting the outdoor activates for the seniors with wandering behavior and moderate dementia (middle-stage), and disability and severe dementia (late-stage), so that can increase their social activities and sensory stimulation to decrease the sickness. Suggest, in the future, should provide more micro- day care center in every community, so the seniors can be aged in place in the familiar environment. Also, can give the rest chance to the caregivers. Finally will reach the idea of aged friendly community.
