After the establishment of Taiwan’s trust law framework in 2001, trust services began to grow substantially, spurring the trust industry to establish a solid foundation and become an important part of the financial industry. However, looking at the growth of trust services over the past 20 years, the proportion of investment and financial management is still high. There are few trusts that are truly tailor-made for customers, and many basic trust services have not yet been provided. However, in terms of social environment, the problem of aging is becoming more and more serious. In this case, how to respond to the various needs of the aging society and the people? It is the social responsibility of the trust industry to develop trusts that meet the needs of the people. Therefore, the FSC released the Trust 2.0 plan, hoping to reverse this trend. This paper discusses the trust industry from a comparison with the foreign trust industry’s business models and trust services. Through transformation and business innovation, it is hoped to make Taiwan’s trust services progress to another wave of development and prosperity. |
