中醫治療膀胱過動症之病例報告

Treatment for Overactive Bladder with Traditional Chinese Medicine: A Case Report

本病例是一位37歲女性，有子宮肌瘤、混合焦慮及憂鬱情緒的病史，自2020年11月開始出現頻尿症狀，至泌尿科診斷為膀胱過動症，經過2年多藥物及電刺激治療後，症狀仍反覆發作而到中醫科求診。中醫診斷為脾腎兩虛型的小便數，治療方針為補脾益腎，疏肝解鬱。筆者整理中西醫對於泌尿系統的理論架構以及近年治療研究，希望能提供對這類疾病治療上的參考。

This case report describes a 37-year-old female patient with a medical history of uterine fibroids, mixed anxiety, and depression symptoms. She began experiencing frequent urination symptoms in November 2020, and was diagnosed with overactive bladder by the urology department. After more than two years of medication and electrical stimulation therapy, her symptoms continued to recur, leading her to seek treatment from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The TCM diagnosis identified urinary issues related to spleen and kidney deficiency, and the treatment approach focused on tonifying the spleen, nourishing the kidneys, and regulating liver function to alleviate depression. In this article, the author compiles both TCM and Western medicine theories regarding the urinary system, as well as recent treatment research, with the aim of providing insights into the treatment of such conditions.
