While the outbreak of COVID-19 globally, the whole hospital was mobilized to epidemic prevention, and rapidly deployed 3 advanced quarantine facilities for mild cases to prevent the medical system from collapse. Community screening stations and large-scale vaccination stations have been set up simultaneously, and vaccinations have been launched on campuses and long-term care facilities. In 2022, when the epidemic was severe in Taiwan, 5,088 patients visited the emergency department for COVID-19, and a total of 885 COVID-19 positive patients were admitted in the hospital. In order to effectively relieve the heavy burden of emergency department, we deployed more outdoor epidemic prevention clinics and provided telemedicine to expand the capacity of epidemic prevention.
