Objectives. To explore patient and family satisfaction with post-acute care service of stroke and identify any differences. Methods. This study was based on the ''Taiwan Healthcare Indicator Series,'' incorpor-ating additional items related to Rehabilitation and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to better reflect the current situation. A Likert scale with five levels was used for the questionnaire scoring. After data collection, statistical analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 28. Results. This study included a total of 115 participants. The overall mean satisfaction score was 4.27, falling between ''very satisfied'' and ''satisfied.'' When divided into two major groups-patients and family members-the mean satisfaction score for patients was 4.21, while that for family members was 4.31. Although the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant, both scores exceeded 4, indicating general satisfaction with the medical services received. When evaluating healthcare services across five dimensions-hospital environment and facilities, staff service attitude, medical process, waiting time, and service outcomes-a significant difference was observed between patients and family members only in the dimension of hospital environment and facilities. No significant differences were found in the remaining four dimensions. Conclusion. Overall, both patients and their families expressed positive feedback, considering our hospital’s implementation of“Post-Acute Care for Stroke”as a medical policy worth recommending.
