This paper addresses a tribute to Dr. Shu Gong, for her visitings to Taiwan from USA during every summer and winter to demonstrate psychodrama to the local interest groups for the past 25 years. It is written in three parts: (1) Dr. Gong’s contribution to the psychodrama in Taiwan, with a short introduction to her, she and her psychodrama, the important contributions she has made to the development of psychodrama locally, her psychodrama workshops here, her life achievement with prizes, and her daily life; (2) the theory and techniques of the Yi-Shu psychodrama, with its concepts, theory, and operation procedures, discussed with two cases of research; (3) an interview with her students, applied with a qualitative content analysis, resulting a rich discussion further. This further discussion include: the students’ impressions formed about the group of Dr. Gong, what psychodrama spirits and techniques that they learned, and what adjustments on the techniques they made, how these trainings helped them, and the impact of Dr. Gong on their learning in this professional field. |
