Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges to medical institutions worldwide. During the epidemic, a review of operational guidelines at the health clinic revealed several discrepancies with CDC prevention standards. Investigations showed that epidemic prevention measures were incomplete. Key issues were identified in three areas: (1) Operations: lack of standardized procedures for categorizing alert levels, absence of time-based patient scheduling, improper sterilization of medical equipment, and no designated movement flow; (2) Personnel: staff had insufficient knowledge of epidemic prevention practices; (3) Equipment: shortages of essential items such as partition boards and alcohol-based disinfectants. In response, we established clear prevention standards and improved communication through staff education, a LINE messaging group, and informative posters. Additionally, the necessary equipment was installed. As a result, the clinic’s epidemic prevention compliance rate improved from 62.5% to 100%. The project successfully ensured adherence to epidemic prevention regulations, creating a safer, more trustworthy medical environment and delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients. |
