The Ruyi Life-- Miaoli piece was stationed as public art in the center of the square in front of the Miaoli County Hall in 2019. Its installation’s purpose and implied allegorical meaning have aroused the author's curiosity. Accordingly, this study examines the rationality of Ruyi Life-- Miaoli installation from two perspectives:“object-inspired sites”and“body perception.”In addition, it tries to discuss the key points that should be paid attention to in the development of public art in Miaoli County. Further, based on the experience of organizing art festivals in other counties and cities in the past, the future development strategies of public art in Miaoli are explored. |
