The Development of the Hungarian State and Nation

We shall begin with a brief exploration of the history of Hungary. We then examine the rule of theÁrpád Dynasty. We further analyze the Golden Ages of Hungary from the 13th to the 16th century. After scrutinizing how Hungary was portioned, we will look into how it was ruled by the Austrian Habsburgs. In addition, we shall probe into the Hungarian Revolution of 1849 and the formation of the Austria-Hungary. Finally, we will conclude with the political development of Hungary before and after World War I.
