TPS 32A tender X-ray absorption spectroscopy beamline, located the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center, is a newly constructed in phase III of the Taiwan Photon Source (TPS) project and is expected to operate in 2023. The photon energy range of the TPS 32A beamline is 1.7-11 keV, and the expected photon flux is 10^(12) photons/sec at 6 keV. This beamline can provide high brightness, lower high harmonic photons, and a continuously tunable X-ray light source. Equipped with a double-crystal monochromator (DCM) that can perform on the fly-scan, the end station will provide experimental technologies such as X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and hard X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (HAXPES). In addition, the use of the Kirkpatrick-Baez (KB) focusing mirror can further reduce the focal spot size and confer it with micron-level spatial resolution characteristics of micro-X-ray absorption spectroscopy (μ-XAS). These advantages will satisfy basic scientific research and cutting-edge technological innovation. The scientific and industrial circles provide experimental facilities and professional technical research resources that keep pace with the times and open up new research horizons. |
