Nevertheless, within the context of their demanding clinical responsibilities, it is crucial to effectively recognize signs of grief and offer emotional support to caregivers following a loss. In the current social climate, it is particularly common for elderly individuals to provide care for one another. The ramifications of bereavement on partners can be profound, affecting not only daily routines but also both complex and fundamental aspects of life, all of which undergo significant changes following a loss. This article reviews pertinent literature, elucidates the concept of grief, and presents straightforward recommendations for the consideration of clinical practitioners. |
