In the context of late Qing Dynasty, female education, which was led by intellectuals like Liang Qichao(梁啟超), was often positioned within the narrative of strengthening the country and saving the nation. If we compare the female education advocacy of Liang Qichao, Jin Tianhe(金天翮), and Lu Bicheng(呂碧城), we will find that male proponents were concerned with national interests, while female proponents prioritized women’s right. ''Xiayi Jiaren,'' as a“new fiction”written by female writer, provides valuable insights into female education views. This paper will discuss the novel from two main perspectives: practical and idealistic, in order to explore the female education views presented in ''Xiayi Jiaren''. It will illustrate the practical challenges and their solutions through the establishment and management of the female school. And will discuss character of the novel, Gao Jianchen's(高劍塵)educational blueprint of ''making workshops the backbone.'' Also he women's group which is also in the novel, Xiaoguang Society serves as the ideal vision in the novel, echoing the contemporary female education views, and showing what kind of reflective value? In the process of analyzing the novel, will relevant historical materials on female education to be incorporated for comparison.
