Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition characterized by variations in communication, language, and typical cognitive elements. Play serves as the fundamental mechanism through which children explore and understand. To investigate whether puzzle games can benefit the memory and environmental awareness of children with ASD, this research utilizes a qualitative approach with an experimental method involving a sample of 10 respondents. The design of the 3D puzzle toy follows the ADDIE method, encompassing Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In addition to benefiting children with ASD, the author also hopes that with the presence of this toy also be implemented for the broader community, assisting the elderly in improving their memory skills. |
