Magnetic nanoparticles have drawn a lot of attention due to their applications and unique properties. Chemical syntheses are widely used to prepare magnetic nanoparticles with controlled particle sizes and compositions. In this paper, we will discuss the roles of precursor, dispersant, and solvent on chemical syntheses. In addition, we will introduce the applications of magnetic nanoparticles, including ferro fluids, magnetic recording, and biomedicines. |
