The rise of the flipped classroom has deepened and broadened the avenues of innovation in education in many ways, especially the use of digital storytelling, which plays an important role in enhancing students' digital literacy and encouraging teachers to teach creatively. For the future of literacy education and the cultivation of digital literacy skills, this article argues that the teaching practice of digital storytelling can contribute to students' experience of creating digital content and new media applications, as well as promote learners' motivation to engage in learning and more authentic learning achievements. This paper utilizes a review of international English-language journals to review the research on digital storytelling in teacher training, as well as its application in education at the University of California, the career counseling program at the National Taiwan Sports University, and the teaching practice of self-discovery for high school students, to explore the sharing of digital storytelling experiences in higher education and high school education teaching practices, and to promote innovative thinking and opportunities for the application of digital storytelling. On the other hand, it also promotes the professional development of teachers' digital literacy skills. In this paper, we have chosen to apply it in the area of career counseling, which is closer to students' needs for future career planning and provides avenues for exploration. |
