因應高齡化社會來臨，慢性病比例增加，應用資訊及通訊科技的智慧醫療，提供醫療照護的人力短缺困境之解決方案，建立創新的醫療照護模式，已成為照護服務的趨勢。智慧醫療涵蓋三大層面，「行動醫療」、「互動式健康」、「數據式健康」，可提供監測、追蹤、照護人員與個案間的溝通、資訊、有效率的互聯照護模式，例如：各類型智慧健康醫療管理APP、智能藥櫃、護理站電子白板、高危險警示照護系統、即時衛教機器人、各類虛擬實境擬真訓練環境建置、遠距居家照護系統、智慧型居家復健系統…等智慧醫療，改善臨床照護模式，以提升照護品質。

In response to the aging population and the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, the application of smart healthcare using information and communication technology offers solutions to the challenge of healthcare workforce shortages and establishes innovative healthcare models. This trend has become prominent in caregiving services. Smart healthcare encompasses three main aspects: ''Mobile Health,'' ''Interactive Health,'' and ''Data-Driven Health,'' providing monitoring, tracking, communication between caregivers and patients, information, and efficient interconnected care models. Examples include various smart health management apps, intelligent medication cabinets, electronic whiteboards at nursing stations, high-risk warning systems, realtime health education robots, various virtual reality training environments, remote home care systems, and smart home rehabilitation systems. These smart healthcare technologies aim to improve clinical care models and enhance the quality of care.
