Current status and analysis of the National Pharmaceutical Technology and Research Development Award

近年全球生技醫藥產業蓬勃發展，各大廠商積極投入新藥及醫療器材開發，我國為鼓勵新藥物及相關產製技術研發成效卓越者，由衛生福利部與經濟部共同辦理國家藥物科技研究發展獎勵，提升國內藥物製造工業水準與臨床試驗品質。本文透過觀察國際及國內藥物科技發展趨勢，以及分析近年藥物科技研究發展獎勵作業現況，包含申請件數趨勢、審查項目及評分權重、得獎案件統計，提供未來藥物科技研究發展獎勵政策規劃參考。

In recent years, the global biopharmaceutical industry has flourished, with major companies actively investing in the development of new drugs and medical devices. To encourage outstanding research and development achievements in new drugs and related manufacturing technology, Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Economic Affairs jointly administer the National Pharmaceutical Technology and Research Development Award (NPRDA). This initiative aims to elevate the standard of the domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and enhance the quality of clinical trials. This article examines both international and domestic trends in pharmaceutical technology development and analyzes the current status of the NPRDA in recent years. It covers aspects such as application numbers, review criteria, weighting, as well as statistics on award-winning cases, providing valuable insights for future policy planning.
