Dementia has a significant impact on patients, caregivers, and society, and its early symptoms are often overlooked. Understanding the disease can reduce stigma and fear, and raising awareness is crucial for early detection. Enhancing self-efficacy and health literacy is essential for improving quality of life and acceptance. We developed an innovative educational system using virtual reality technology. The content is centered around the daily lives of the elderly and incorporates five key learning objectives: disease insight, knowledge, health literacy, self-efficacy, and acceptance. The videos, embedded in everyday scenarios, aim to enhance the learning interest and engagement of older adults, effectively conveying health information. Additionally, this study employs qualitative research methods to evaluate user experiences, collecting participants' feedback through semi-structured in-depth interviews. The results show that participants felt an immersive experience while watching the videos, leading to a deeper impression of the content. |
