' Infants or babies born exposed to drugs '' refer to fetuses and young children were born from mothers with drugs addition. They will have complex problems in their physical and mental development from the early stage of pregnancy, during pregnancy, before and after delivery, and in subsequent development. Furthermore, the human rights of those Infants or babies are the most important issue that social workers cannot ignore. In practice, mothers with drug addiction evade prison terms by getting pregnant, and most of the Infants or babies are placed in residential care. Can those mothers with drug addiction become caregivers and develop appropriate treatment methods? By organizing documents through concepts and theoretical frameworks, we hope to confirm practical work. This article introduces the American model of dealing with family-centered treatment for women(mothers) with drug addiction, and attempts to compare the work in Taoyuan, Taiwan, hoping to show the similarities and differences in the current service appearance. Possibility of family-centered treatment for mothers with drug addiction and their babies. As a social worker, I care about the rights of those infants or babies, and hope to respond through reflection that family-centered treatment is a feasible method. In the service process, the connection of various units to form a link is an important key. |
