This paper discusses modern love in Recipes of Love and analyzes Li Xin-pin's unique recipe copywriting. We explore the modern emotional patterns portrayed in the book. Firstly, Li Xin-pin uses cooking as a metaphor to describe how modern people choose their companions in a transactional manner. Secondly, she translates abstract passions into concrete dishes through her inspiration database, enabling readers to grasp the implications by means of visual imagination. While Recipes of Love might not be a practical recipe book, it certainly provides a great feast for exploring the topic of modern love. |
