The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of achievement motivation, job satisfaction, and work role performance, and the mediating effects of job satisfaction. 311 valid samples were collected from student affairs staff at southern universities in Taiwan. The SEM analysis was used and results showed that there was not significant direct effect of achievement motivation on work role performance. But, there was significant direct effect of achievement motivation on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction on work role performance. Meanwhile, we further confirmed the fully mediation of job satisfaction between achievement motivation and work role performance. Finally, some suggestions for future research are also provided based on the findings of the present study. |
