本文以「發生論文學批評」之相關概念做為主要視角，探討余秋雨《新文化苦旅》之修訂意識，透過對於前文本與定本進行比較，將其相對區分為「系統意識」、「表意意識」與「指意意識」等三分結構。企圖透過這樣的比較，從另一個切面對於文本之形成進行剖析，以檢視作者在建構此一文本時之意識樣態。
