In 1991, ZHU formally put forward the special terms called “The Post-roads in Eastern Zhejiang”, and published three monographs of this special terms. The content summary of one monograph mentioned “It's a book that research the poets of the Tang Dynasty who once use the Post-roads in Eastern Zhejiang, contained their travel time, routes, transportation, their deeds and poems.” But some issues in the monographs are worth discussing again. This article will divide into three parts; first part will rebuild the mode of transportation in Tang Dynasty. Second part will take Wang Changling and Wei Ying-Wu for example, since academia generally believed these two poets had never been to Eastern Zhejiang, but ZHU takes the opposite point of view. Third part will take Meng Hao-Ran and Bai Juyi for example, academia generally believed these two poets had been to Eastern Zhejiang, but the routes and their travel range still have controversies. This article try to base on the wide background of Tang dynasty's transportation, supplemented by the cases study of the poets. Combined the district transportation with the create experiences of the poets, in order to re-correct this subject in more comprehensive way. |
