Sertoli-leydig cell tumor arise from sex cords of both ovary and testis, and account for less of 0.5% of all ovarian neoplasm. It can be further classified into well differentiated, moderately differentiated and poorly differentiated sub-type according to its cellular differentiations. Presence of heterogeneous element can also be observed, with even poorer prognosis. Most of the patient with such ovary neoplasm are within the reproductive age, nevertheless we hereby present a case of an 80-year-old woman with poorly differentiated sertoli-leydig cell tumor with heterologous elements. The article will also address the clinical symptoms, pathological features, management and prognosis of such rare tumor. |
