為展現政府強化經濟表現的決心，行政院蘇院長於8月2日指示相關部會，在1個月內將台灣經濟永續發展會議（以下簡稱經續會）所達成的516項「共同意見」，屬於行政權責可以辦理部分，提出具體執行計畫或方案，提報行政院核定，行政院將會秉持「實事求是」的精神，劍及履及，貫徹執行。

As an expression of the government’s determination to strengthen Taiwan’s economic performance, on Aug. 2 Premier Su Tseng-Chang instructed relevant ministries and commissions to come up with implementation plans that come under the authority of the executive branch for the 516“consensuses”reached at the recent Conference on Sustaining Taiwan’s Economic Development (COSTED).
