Previous research has shown that applying problem-based learning (PBL) in curriculum facilitates students’learning outcome. In the light of these results, the purpose of this research is to apply PBL in the promotion strategy curriculum to explore its effects on students’learning outcome and discover how PBL can be effectively applied to a curriculum design. It also can enhance teacher professional development in teaching by conducting educational action research. This study uses a quantity surveying questionnaire to gather data from the participants and supplement qualitative data of teachers’teaching observation and research diary and students’document. The study results showed that using PBL in the promotion strategy curriculum significantly improve students' learning motivation and attitude, cooperation skills and peer interaction. Bases on the study results, we provide reflections on teaching and recommendations of instructional design for applying PBL in the promotion strategy. |
