由於國家主權的不可侵犯和各國國籍政策的固有差異，雙重國籍現象必然存在，難以徹底消除。雙重國籍政策興起有著非常複雜的原因，維護國家利益、保障國籍權、擴大本國政治參與人群、區域一體化進程等推動著雙重國籍政策的興起。此外，效忠衝突概率降低，擔任公職衝突、服兵役衝突、外交保護和領事服務衝突、向國家求償衝突等問題得到妥善解決，也促使雙重國籍政策興起。雙重國籍政策興起，預示著超國家趨勢，可能最終導致作為傳統政治實體的民族國家的衰落。我國作為單一國籍政策國家，不宜過早放棄單一國籍政策，也不宜絕對排斥雙重國籍政策，而應循序漸進地推進雙重國籍政策。

Dual nationality cannot be completely eliminated due to inviolability of national sovereignty and inherent differences in nationality policies. Additionally, dual nationality policy is closely related to many complicated factors, such as safeguarding national interests, protecting the right of nationality, expanding the group people of participating politics, and facilitating regional integration. The barriers of risen dual nationality policy is eliminated by solving the related conflict and issues, such as the conflict of holding public post, performing the military service, seeking the diplomatic protection and consular services, claiming for the state compensation. The rise of dual nationality policy has indicated a supranational trend that may ultimately lead to the decline of the nation as the traditional politics entity. Our country is a single nationality policy country, and it is appropriate to gradually process dual nationality policy other than quit one nationality policy prematurely.
