To build a fair and reasonable world order, to maintain world peace, and to promote world development are important requirements for China’s foreign-related rule of law regime, and are also important aspects of China’s opening-up development that must be seriously faced with, actively considered, and fully developed. All states in the world have fully realized that peace and development are the most crucial themes of the contemporary world, that peace is the premise and foundation of development, and that the rule of law is an important instrument for maintaining world peace and development. As an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, the series of planning and deployment of foreign-related rule of law proceeded from the“great changes unseen in the world in a century”, deeply analyzed various challenges facing world peace, and analyzed the direction and trend of the reform of the global governance system. China clearly proposes to promote international democratization, rule of law and justice in world politics, firmly upholds the world legal order with the UN Charter as the core, peacefully resolve differences and disputes between states by means of the rule of law, safeguard the basic pattern of international peace and shape the world a favorable environment for development by means of law. China advocates to promote the building of a world of lasting peace, universal security, prosperity and development, inclusiveness, openness, cleanness and beauty, and to construct a system of rules and regulations for a human community with a shared future. This is not only the common aspiration of the Chinese people and the world, but also the core requirements of rule of law in foreign affairs. |
