Starting from the perspective of understanding Japanese culture, this study uses text mining techniques to analyze the elements of the "professionalism" as perceived by professionals in Japan. The analysis material includes the answers of 530 professionals in various fields to the question "What do you think a professional is?" in a television program on NHK that introduces professionals in Japan. The first part of this study explains the pre-analysis work of the data, followed by the creation of a frequency list of vocabulary appearance and a co-occurrence network diagram. Then, referring to the original content of the answers, the common characteristics of the "professionalism" elements valued by the professionals are summarized. The vocabulary with the highest frequency of appearance is "zibun", followed by "sigoto", "keizoku", and "iku", which are centered on "zibun", forming a tight co-occurrence relationship . This is also a key aspect of this study's analysis. |
