東協外商直接投資之研究

Inward Foreign Direct Investments in ASEAN

海外直接投資 （foreign direct investment, FDI），乃是國際企業除了透過出口、授權、加盟等國際貿易方式之外，另一種進行全球化的主要方式。本研究乃是針對FDI的現象及其相關課題來進行深入探討。另一方面，近年來各國企業紛紛前往東協（ASEAN） 的成員國來進行FDI，包括許多台商在內，也有一些娛樂、休閒業者。由此顯見，東協的外來FDI 乃是相當值得探究的主題。本研究的主要目的，乃是針對東協的外來FDI 的情勢加以剖析，包括台商在內。首先，先介紹海外直接投資的相關文獻，以做為後續分析的基礎；其次，再就東協的外商直接投資情勢加以整理；第三，則是針對台商赴東協的直接投資進行評估；最後，列舉重要課題加以討論。

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is one of the main modes of globalization of businesses along with international trade modes including exporting, licensing and franchising. This study was focused on the phenomenon and related topics of FDI to engage in a deep investigation. Furthermore, in recent years many firms coming from a variety of countries have had gone to member states of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to engage in direct investments, which are including a lot of Taiwanese firms, and some of them are recreation and leisure businesses. It is so clear that the inward FDI of ASEAN is worthy of a deep study. The principal objective of this study, then, is to analyze the situations of the inward FDI of ASEAN, including that is coming from Taiwanese firms. Firstly, literature of FDI was reviewed, which offered the foundation to do the research; secondly, situations of the inward FDI of ASEAN were analyzed; thirdly, inward FDI of ASEAN finished by Taiwanese firms were evaluated; and lastly, some important topics were discussed.
