This study mainly explores the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the work stress and fatigue of hotel employees after the epidemic is under control. People are less likely to travel abroad during the epidemic, and most people choose travel destinations in Taiwan. Practitioners will cause work stress and work fatigue. This research uses a cross-sectional research design to collect research data with structured questionnaires. The questionnaires are distributed to hotel and hotel staff who have worked for more than three months in the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area in Nantou County, Taiwan. For the convenience of the survey, the research uses the Convenience sampling method. After factor analysis in this study, three factors were extracted from work stress, which was named in this study. Workload”,“support from supervisors and colleagues”, and“interpersonal relationships in the workplace”. Regarding workload, 60.8% of the respondents believed they were affected by the epidemic. In terms of support from bosses and colleagues, 23.7% of the respondents believed that the epidemic had an impact. In the workplace, 18.0% believed that they were affected by the epidemic. The results of workplace fatigue factor analysis extracted a total of two factors named ''personal fatigue'' and ''work fatigue'' in this study. The extracted results were quite consistent with the results of content validity. As for the various factors that are affected by the epidemic, personal fatigue is 30.2%, and work fatigue is 29.8%, which are similar. |
