加藤(2017)將地緣經濟學描述為「透過經濟手段實現地緣政治利益的政治和外交方法」。台灣雖然因與中國大陸的關係,在國際政治上處境艱難,但憑藉技術發展實力和先進技術,屢屢在地緣經濟上採取相關適切應對。 本論文之研究目的是透過案例研究,從地緣經濟的角度審視台灣的科技實力和產業創新。為釐清地緣政治經濟策略下台灣區域創新能力的影響,鎖定以鴻海和台積電為代表的EMS、EV和半導體等對當前全球商務和核心技術影響最大的產業,對其進行實證研究,並提出了三個地緣經濟模型。 本研究期待對台灣EMS、EV、半導體產業未來發展的地緣政治經濟研究有所貢獻,並有助於理解地緣政治問題與地緣經濟戰略的關係。 Kato (2017) describes geoeconomics as“political and diplomatic methods for realizing geopolitical interests through economic means”. Although Taiwan is in a difficult international political position due to its relationship with mainland China, it has dealt with it geoeconomically at many appropriate times, such as by relying on its strength in technological development and advanced technology. The purpose of this paper is to examine Taiwan’s technological strength and industrial innovation from a geoeconomic perspective through case studies. In order to clarify the impact of regional innovation in Taiwan on geopolitical economic strategies, we empirically consider EMS, EV, semiconductors, etc. represented by Hon Hai and TSMC, and then geoeconomically present these three models. This paper contributes to geopolitical economic research on the future development of Taiwan’s EMS, EV, semiconductor industries, as well as help to understand the relationship between geopolitical issues and geoeconomic strategy. |
