Deconstruction of ''Zheng Cheng Gong'' was popular in the early 21st century. However, in the literary circle of Taiwan, the imagination of the childhood, adolescence, relationship with parents, and trauma narration of Zheng Cheng Gong were the key points of related writing after 2010.This study focused on three volumes of Zheng Sun (2014-2015) and Zhu Lu Zhi Hai (2017) of He-Chih Chu which were rarely discussed in the previous research. It aimed to observe how the writer constantly constructed “Koxinga” by margin/core argumentation. Formation of Koxinga is not simply the process of bestowing a name, it is the construction of self-identification and expansion of business scope. By elaborating on how the writer selectively translated historical materials/characters, we could explore the change of mental states of Zheng Cheng Gong, cultivation of personality, and resistance to the obstacles of life to deserve the name Koxinga. In other words, this article explored how the author created a 21st century literary aspect of the Koxinga , so as to see the starting point of the author’s writing. |
