This paper aims to develop learners’ business communication skills, especially “thinking skills”. By setting up “real-life and actual situations” (customer complaint handling), we explore the case studies of “analytical” and “problem-solving” skills required to develop “thinking skills” and examine how they affect each learner's thinking style and what creativit y they stimulate. The discussion was conducted in both face-to-face and remote formats, and the five stages of the learning process were explored in terms of narrative content: “construction of one’s own ideas,” “first round of group sharing and discussion,” “second round of group sharing and discussion,” “reconstruction of one’s own ideas,” and “construction of shared ideas in a group.” Through this discussion, we find that learners can generate common ideas after adding their own ideas to other people's viewpoints. |
