Polynomial regression was used for this study to identify the impact of the executive with benevolent-authoritative leadership to the staff's emotional labor and voice behavior. Because previous limited studies have not considered multiple relationship effects on benevolent-authoritative leadership, we used polynomial regression analysis in order to be more precisely explain such effect on leadership. Polynomial regression analysis approach that allows us to examine the benevolent and authoritative leadership when their combination relatedto emotional labor or voice behavior. The sample included service, manufacturing, finance industries and so on. The finding indicates that when the supervisors have both benevolent and authoritarian leadership behaviors, the impact on voice behaviors and emotional labor is better than the supervisors with sole leadership behavior. In addition, the voice behavior of the employee was affected by emotional labor. Therefore, we suggest the future studies of the leadership behaviors consider the multidimensional measurement to analyze data. |
