This research uses the application of a digital teaching platform as the medium, and uses the ARCS teaching model in the English writing course of the University of Science and Technology aiming to explore the following research questions: (1) To explore the application of a digital platform to the self-efficacy analysis of students' English writing; (2) To explore the application of ARCS Analysis of teaching mode on students' English writing selfefficacy; (3) To investigate the influence of English writing cycle on students' English writing; (4) To explore the teaching reflection and impact of applying digital platforms in English writing teaching. The research results showed that in terms of English self-efficacy, the designed English writing course training process and methods have improved students' overall English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Through the English writing cycle, students are clearly aware of the lack of information in writing, and through the writing skills taught in class, students expressed that they can specifically improve their writing quality. This study also puts forward reflections and suggestions on English writing teaching. |
